Greater Noida Dowry Murder: Nikki Bhati’s Father Demands Encounter for Accused Vipin Bhati

The chilling dowry murder of 28-year-old Nikki Bhati in Greater Noida has sparked massive outrage across Uttar Pradesh. Nikki was allegedly set ablaze by her husband Vipin Bhati, his father Satyaveer Bhati, and brother Rohit Bhati over a demand for ₹36 lakh in dowry.

While Vipin has been arrested, his father and brother remain absconding. Nikki's grieving father, Bhikari Singh Payla, has demanded the strictest punishment for the accused, calling for an encounter killing and demolition of their house.

"They are killers, they should be shot, their home razed. My daughter worked hard to raise her son, but they tortured her and killed her," Payla said.

Despite the cruelty she faced, Nikki reportedly kept her struggles hidden from her parents.
"She did not want me to worry, so she tried her best to make the marriage work. But they are killers," her father told reporters.

Payla also alleged that Vipin was in a relationship with another woman and conspired with his family to remove Nikki from his life.

Six-Year-Old Son Witnessed the Crime

Perhaps the most heartbreaking aspect of this case is the testimony of Nikki's six-year-old son, who witnessed his mother being set on fire. In his statement, the boy said:
"Meri mumma ke upar kuch dala, fir unko chanta mara fir lighter se aag laga di."

Shocking Videos Circulate Online

Two disturbing videos have surfaced online. One shows Nikki being dragged by her hair and assaulted, while another shows her limping down the stairs after being set ablaze. Reports suggest these clips were recorded by Nikki's elder sister Kanchan, who is married into the same family.

Political Pressure and Public Outcry

The case has reached political corridors, with Nikki's father directly appealing to the Yogi Adityanath government for strict action.

"They shoot pickpockets in the leg, and they won't kill these murderers? This is a BJP government," Payla said, demanding an encounter for the accused.

Meanwhile, Vipin's Instagram post, claiming Nikki died by suicide, has been dismissed by police as an attempt to mislead.
