Noida DM Advocates for Prompt Resolution of Entrepreneurs' Challenges
Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma led a key meeting of the Udyog Bandhu Committee on Monday. The session focused on resolving issues faced by local entrepreneurs, such as waterlogging, power outages, traffic congestion, damaged roads, and encroachments.

Verma highlighted the vital role of entrepreneurs in the district's industrial growth. He instructed officials to prioritise and address the problems raised by representatives of entrepreneurial organisations. "Officials must act swiftly and ensure that all industry-related issues raised in today's meeting are resolved through targeted campaigns," he asserted, according to an official statement.
Ensuring Effective Implementation of State Schemes
Verma directed officials to ensure that state government schemes aimed at boosting industrial development reach entrepreneurs effectively. He urged departmental heads to conduct regular meetings with entrepreneurial organisations to monitor and promptly resolve their issues. This approach aims to minimise the number of problems brought up in future Udyog Bandhu meetings.
The meeting saw participation from Chief Development Officer Janardan Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Industries Anil Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Stamps Second Shashi Bhanu Mishra, District Food Safety Officer Archana Dheeran, and representatives from the labour, irrigation, pollution, and police departments. Entrepreneurial organisation representatives were also present.
Direct Reporting for Swift Resolution
Verma advised entrepreneurs not to wait for Udyog Bandhu meetings to voice their concerns. "Report your issues directly to the relevant department or district administration immediately so that they can be resolved swiftly and on a priority basis," he said.
He also emphasised forming committees under the Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act to ensure workplace safety for women. Verma mandated the submission of annual reports to prevent harassment at work.
The District Magistrate's directives aim to create a more responsive and efficient system for addressing industrial issues. By ensuring prompt action and regular communication between officials and entrepreneurs, the district hopes to foster a more conducive environment for industrial growth.
This meeting underscores the administration's commitment to supporting local businesses and addressing their challenges proactively. The involvement of various departmental representatives highlights a collaborative approach towards resolving industrial issues in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
