Noida Daycare Attendant Detained For Alleged Assault On 15-Month-Old Baby

The daycare is operated by the residents' association and is one of many such facilities in Delhi NCR where working parents leave their children. The baby's parents initially mistook the marks for an allergic reaction until teachers raised concerns. A doctor's visit confirmed they were bite marks, prompting the parents to review CCTV footage.

The footage revealed shocking scenes of the attendant's actions, leading the parents to file a complaint at Sector 142 police station. Sandeep, the baby's father, shared that they began using the daycare on May 21, leaving their child there for two hours daily. He expressed disbelief over how their child was left with an attendant instead of teachers as promised. The family paid Rs 2,500 for this service.

Another family in the complex reported similar experiences with their child at the same daycare and plans to file a police complaint soon. Sandeep emphasized his desire for action against those responsible to prevent future incidents. He described how this ordeal affected his family's daily life.

Sandeep revealed that the attendant involved is a minor, raising questions about hiring practices at the daycare. He urged authorities to ensure mature individuals are employed for such sensitive roles. Police are investigating how Charu, who runs the daycare, hired a minor for this job.
