No toilet: Woman called off wedding in Kanpur
Kanpur, April 18: A woman in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh called off her wedding after she came to know that the groom had failed to build a toilet at his home.
Woman identified as Neha, aresident of Lucknow, was to be married in a mass wedding ceremony, organised by an NGO in Kanpur on Sunday.

"I called off the wedding because family had promised to get built a toilet at their residence but they didn't," said Neha, who was all dressed up as a bride before she called off the wedding.
"We must do our bit to give impetus to PM Modi's "Swacch Bharat" initiative. Having toilet built at home is a basic need," she was quoted as saying.
Later she opted to marry with another suitor, who had a toilet at home.
