No stray-cattle on Delhi streets during US President Barack Obama’s visit
New Delhi, Jan 8: Ahead of the US President Barack Obama's visit on Jan 24, Saturday, the stray cattle won't be allowed to roam on the streets of the national capital.
According to reports, the civic body South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has said that that there would be no stray cattle when Obama's convoy will travel from airport.

The move is being taken as a safety measure, so that there won't be any hindrance in the traffic during Obama's visit.
The SDMC has already began to send cows to the cattle shelters ran by NGOs.
It is said that there are many stray cattle on the route from the airport to the hotel in Central Delhi and to the Rashtrapati Bhavan and other adjoining VVIP areas.
The locals villagers usually leave their cows to roam freely on the roads and by evening thet return to their owners.
Barack Obama will become the first US president to attend the Republic Day celebrations on Jan 26, Monday in Delhi, as its Chief Guest.
