No Respite For Kejriwal: Delhi HC Refuses Arrest Protection In ED Summons Case
The Delhi High Court on Thursday declined to provide interim protection from coercive action to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, stating, "At this stage, we are not inclined to grant interim relief."
However, the court has requested a response from the Enforcement Directorate regarding this fresh interim plea and has scheduled the matter for April 22, 2024.

During Wednesday's hearing, the high court refused to stay the ED summons issued to Kejriwal. Instead, it instructed the ED to submit its response within two weeks, setting the next hearing for April 22. Following the High Court's decision not to stay the summons, Kejriwal filed a new application in the same case, seeking "no coercive action" against him. Today, the high court has refused to grant him interim protection from arrest.
