Mercury touches 46 degrees C in Delhi
New Delhi, June 7: There was no respite in sight for Delhi from the intense heat wave with mercury likely to touch 46 degrees celsius on Saturday.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal. Humdidity was recorded at 20 per cent at 8.30 am.

The MeT department has predicted a clear sky with no rain or storm for the day. Temperature in the national capital breached the 45 degrees Celsius mark yesterday, making it the hottest day of the season.

The minimum temperature on Friday was 29.4 degrees Celsius, which was a notch above normal. Meanwhile AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Ashutosh who were meeting in the capital to discuss the current letter war also tweetedabout the soaring temperature and power cuts.
