No Concrete Evidence, Probe Agencies Yet To Receive Specifics: Jaishankar On Nijjar Case Arrest
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated that New Delhi is awaiting details about the arrests in the case and emphasized that Canada has not provided any evidence of the Indian government's involvement in Nijjar's assassination despite repeated requests, as reported by The Hindu.
''We haven't received anything specific or worthy of being pursued by our probe agencies,'' PTI also quoted Jaishankar as saying.

The killing of Nijjar by masked gunmen on June 18 had sparked diplomatic tension between New Delhi and Ottawa.
Canada's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team disclosed on Saturday that 22-year-old Amandeep Singh was arrested in the case and charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Singh was already in the custody of the Peel Regional Police in an unrelated firearms case.
Earlier, on May 3, the Canadian Police arrested Karanpreet Singh, Kamalpreet Singh, and Karan Brar from Edmonton, Alberta, on suspicion of murdering Nijjar. They were charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy. At the time of their arrest, the police had indicated they were investigating connections between the accused individuals and the Government of India.
