Nitish Kumar to be sworn in as Bihar CM at 10 am: Sushil Modi to be deputy
In Delhi, the BJP following its Parliamentary Board meet had made it clear that it did not want mid-term elections in the state.
Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar at 10 am today. Kumar who resigned as the Chief Minister of Bihar will be sworn in with Sushil Modi as his deputy.

Sushil Modi of the BJP said that they have submitted a letter with the support of 132 legislators and have been given a time of 10 am for the swearing in. Modi made this announcement following a late night meeting with the Governor.

Sushil Modi said, "Nityanand Rai ji and I called Nitish ji. BJP has decided to support him and the government formed under him. We have informed the Governor too". He then drove to Mr Kumar's Patna residence along with the party's state chief Nityanand Rai and other party leaders and legislators.
The BJP which had earlier decided on offering outside support later decided to join the government. In Delhi, the BJP following its Parliamentary Board meet had made it clear that it did not want mid-term elections in the state.
