Nitish Kumar to address Nepal Congress convention in Kathmandu
New Delhi, Mar 1: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will address the National Convention of the Nepal Congress to be held in Kathmandu on March 3.
"An invitation has been extended by the secretariat of the Nepal Congress to the Chief Minister to address the party convention," JD(U) general secretary K C Tyagi said in a statement.

Tyagi will accompany Kumar during his visit to Nepal. Socialist leaders like Ram Manohar Lohia, Jai Prakash Narayan, Karpuri Thakur and Chandra Shekhar had supported of the causes of democracy in Nepal.
Former Prime Minister of Nepal Sushil Koirala was in jail with Kumar during the Emergency period, he said. Kumar will also be meeting important leaders there.
A delegation of Madheshi Leaders will meet the chief minister.
