Nido Taniam: Meet the leaders who support the North East students
New Delhi, Feb 6: Nido Taniam's death has taken the world by rage, especially the minority students from the North East.
Interestingly, their plight did not occur to the political circuits even when there were complaints in the past regarding Northeastern women being raped and being called racially instigating names. These women have lodged complaints, but to no effect.
But the situation is different now. Its the Lok Sabha elections and one can find a brigade of ministers swarming in places that did not 'catch' their attention before. Here are some:
