NIA arrests key NFDB(S) operative

The NIA has arrested a key operative of the NFDB(S). The NIA arrested Swadab Brahma a trained cadre of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit faction).

He has been accused with the killings that took place at Pakriguri under Serfanguri Police Station, district Kokrajhar, Assam.

He was arrested in a joint operation with 210 COBRA Battalion of CRPF. A Non-Bailable Warrant of Arrest was earlier issued by the NIA Court, Guwahati, Assam. The accused will be produced before the Court with a prayer for NIA custody for interrogation, the agency said in a statement.
