New Delhi, Nov 16: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Wednesday questioned Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung's decision of lifting the ban on construction activities in Delhi.
The Tribunal has sought reason for LG's decision, which was taken on Tuesday.

The NGT also sought clarification from Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) and Delhi Government on steps taken to curb waste burning, said reports.
The decision to lift ban on construction was taken in a meeting chaired by LG Jung to review the condition of air pollution in Delhi. The decision was taken in view of loss of income to the daily wage labourers.
The DPCC had said during the meeting that there was a decline in pollution levels in the National Capital in the last two weeks.
Both the Supreme Court and NGT are closely monitoring the sitution in Delhi due to air pollution.
