New Vande Bharat Express To Run Between Jogbani And Danapur — Check Schedule, Fares, And Stoppages

The Indian Railways is expanding its premium Vande Bharat network in Bihar with the launch of the Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express. Set to run under the East Central Railway (ECR) zone, the semi-high-speed train aims to boost regional connectivity by linking border towns of north Bihar with the state capital, Patna.

Train Details and Schedule

The Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express will operate with train numbers 26301 and 26302, covering a total distance of 453 km. The journey will take about 8 hours and 10 minutes depending on the direction of travel.

The train will run six days a week. However, it will remain cancelled one day in each direction:

• From Danapur to Jogbani (26302), the train will not operate on Wednesdays.
• From Jogbani to Danapur (26301), the train will not run on Tuesdays.

Route and Stoppages

The Vande Bharat will make 14 scheduled stops between Jogbani and Danapur. The stations are:
Bharpura Pahlejaghat, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Hasanpur Road, Salauna, Khagaria, Mansi, Saharsa, Dauram Madhepura, Banmankhi, Purnea, Arariya Court, and Forbesganj.

These stoppages connect key towns in north and east Bihar, making the train a major lifeline for both local passengers and long-distance travellers.

Departure and Arrival Timings

• Danapur to Jogbani (26302): The train will depart Danapur at 17:10 hrs and arrive at Jogbani at 01:20 hrs the next day.
• Jogbani to Danapur (26301): The return journey begins at 03:25 hrs from Jogbani and reaches Danapur at 11:30 hrs the same day.

Ticket Prices and Coaches

• The train will have 8 modern coaches with two categories of seating:
• AC Chair Car: ₹1,310 per passenger between Danapur and Jogbani.
• Executive Chair Car: ₹2,375 for the same route.

These fares include the premium experience of faster travel, better seating comfort, and advanced onboard facilities compared to conventional trains.
