New short film for Valentine's Day
Kolkata, Feb 14: A new short film "Queen of Hearts", which defies the stereotypical interpretation of Valentine’s Day, has been released here. The film features seasoned actors Darshan Jariwalla and Smita Jayakar.
It revolves around the Mehta family in which the men compete with each other to take the queen of their heart on a date.

Talking about the film, Darshan, a Gujarati film, television and stage actor, said "It's a beautiful short film about Valentine's Day and shows how this day should be celebrated with the entire family and not in isolation with your partners.
"Queen of Hearts is a fun film and the whole family can sit and enjoy it," he added. Smita, who plays the titular character, said, "It's a very special movie. In this unique story, we tried to change the outlook of Valentine's Day in a fun, playful way. After all, it's all about loving your family."
The seven and half minute film, which was released yesterday, also has Aahana Kumra and Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles.
The story is written and directed by Abhimanyu Kanodia and produced by Connect.1, the digital arm of Mukta Arts of Subash Ghai. It is available across multiple digital platforms like Facebook, Youtube and twitter.
