Addressing a meeting of intellectuals in Jaipur, Hosabale highlighted the importance of an Indian-centric approach to education, aligned with the country's rich traditions.

Education Rooted in Indian Knowledge

Hosabale believes that education rooted in traditional Indian knowledge can address challenges in individual lives and foster positive changes in society, character building, and environmental protection. He expressed that the answers to individual life challenges lie within Indian education, and the new education policy is instilling confidence in the new generation.

Missed Greatness and Positive Shift

Hosabale lamented that post-independence generations failed to grasp India's greatness, but he sees a positive shift with the new education policy. He believes that the generation prepared under this policy will develop a sense of human love in society, enabling India to become a global model.

India's Timeless Traditions

Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani also spoke at the event, emphasizing the timeless traditions of India that inspire the world and shape the nation's identity. He called for active participation from all to make positive changes in education a mass movement, incorporating new technologies and aligning the curriculum with Indian values.

Educating the Younger Generation

Devnani stressed the importance of educating the younger generation about India's glorious history and instilling self-reliance and self-respect. Dr Pankaj Mittal, general secretary of the Indian Universities Association, highlighted the need to build children's character and conduct research beneficial to society.

Mittal recognized Vedic mathematics as a gift from Indian education and emphasized universities' responsibility in societal development. The event brought together intellectuals and education experts to discuss the transformative potential of the new education policy and its role in shaping India's future.
