New Delhi: Oil tanker catches fire, sparks blaze in Punjabi Bagh
New Delhi, Jun 3: A major blaze broke out in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area here this afternoon after an oil tanker caught fire and the flames spread to a nearby warehouse.
The incident took place in the Transport Nagar area near the Punjabi Bagh Metro station when an oil tanker parked there somehow caught fire, police said.

There was no immediate report of any casualty in the incident, which has caused traffic to be diverted away from the area.
A call was made to fire officials and Delhi Police following which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Efforts to douse the flames were still on with police having cordoned off the area.
