Tamil Nadu: New-born girl found dead in water-filled bucket
Coimbatore, Dec 15: Body of a 23-day-old girl was found in a water-filled bucket in a house here hours after her mother raised a kidnap alarm, police said on Tuesday, Dec 15.
Suganya, wife of Senthlkumar, a milk vendor, last evening complained that her daughter sleeping in their house in Singanallur was abducted by unknown persons, they said.

On receiving the information, a special police team rushed to the house last night and carried out a search during which the baby's body was found lying in a plastic bucket full of water, police said.
Police said they were interrogating Suganya and an elderly woman in the house in connection with the incident.
