NEET UG 2025 Registration May Start Today: Check Revised Exam Format And Steps To Apply
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to begin the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 today, according to an NDTV report. Aspiring medical students wishing to appear for the exam can visit the official NTA website for detailed instructions and information. Unlike previous years, candidates will not be required to provide an APAAR ID during registration for NEET UG 2025.
Steps To Register For NEET UG 2025

1. Visit the official NEET UG website at neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the NEET UG 2025 application link.
3. Fill in the required details in the application form and pay the registration fee.
4. Submit the completed application form.
5. Download and save a copy of the registration form for future reference.
In addition to the registration details, the NTA has also announced a revised paper format for the NEET UG 2025 exam. The new exam format will not include Section B, which was previously part of the test. Moreover, the optional questions and the extra time introduced during the COVID-19 period will no longer be a part of the exam. The exam duration will remain 180 minutes.
Candidates will have to answer a total of 180 questions, with 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology. The NTA has confirmed that NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format, in a single shift on a single day.
NEET UG is an essential exam for students seeking admission to undergraduate medical education in India. The test is used for admission to various MBBS programs, including those at prestigious institutions such as AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER, and other government medical colleges across the country.
