NEET UG 2024 Registration Update: Application Process Begins At New Website neet.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday started the application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The exams will be held on May 5.
The NEET UG official website has transitioned to neet.nta.nic.in.
Interested candidates aiming to apply for the NEET UG 2024 examination can access the notification PDF through the official NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in, once it becomes available.

About the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test:
NEET serves as the sole medical entrance examination in the country, facilitating admissions to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BSc nursing, and AYUSH courses.
The NEET UG exam is conducted in 13 languages, including English and Hindi, and comprises four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany, each divided into two sections, A and B. Section A consists of 35 questions worth 140 marks, while Section B contains 15 questions, totalling 40 marks. The entire paper is designed to carry 720 marks.
With a total of 200 objective-type questions, candidates are required to answer 180 questions. Correct responses earn four marks, while incorrect attempts incur a deduction of one mark. Unanswered questions carry no penalty.
NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be at least 17 years old by the commencement of the exam or will attain this age by December 31 of the admission year, with no upper age limit.
Candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Those in the 12th grade may also apply.
A minimum of fifty per cent in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required to register for the examination. For OBC/SC/ST and PWD Categories, a forty per cent score in the core subjects is necessary.
NEET UG 2024 Number of Attempts:
Applicants can sit for the NEET UG exam multiple times with no restrictions on attempts.
NEET UG 2024 Exam Dates and Details:
The NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled for May 5 across various examination centers nationwide, with 14 international cities added to cater to interested students.
The examination will take place offline from 2 PM to 5 PM, with a total duration of three hours and 20 minutes.

- Enter details accurately, matching those provided in the Class 12 board application.
- Create a strong and memorable password for future logins.
- Upon successful registration, a provisional application number will be generated for future access.
