NDA Candidates List, Seat Sharing Formula For Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 To Be Announced Today

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to announce its seat-sharing formula for the Bihar Assembly elections on Sunday, following a high-level meeting of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, held in New Delhi on Saturday.

The meeting, convened at Nadda's residence, focused on finalising seat distribution among NDA partners and shortlisting candidates for the two-phase Bihar polls scheduled on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.

Bihar BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal confirmed that the alliance's seat-sharing announcement will be made today, assuring that "everything has been amicably settled" and that "the NDA remains united."

A senior BJP leader revealed that an agreement has been reached with allies, though discussions on a few constituencies continue. The Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give final approval to the candidates.

Allies, including Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustan Awam Morcha (Secular), and Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Samta Party, have been in talks with the BJP over additional seats. Party leaders, however, maintain that the NDA will present a unified front once the official seat-sharing list is released.
