NCERT Recruitment 2024: 123 Roles Up For Grabs – Check How To Apply, Fees, And Pay Scales
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced that applications are now being accepted for 123 job vacancies.
This recruitment drive is aimed at filling positions for Professor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor roles across various NCERT locations, including New Delhi, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, and Shillong. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications by August 16.

Application Process
To apply, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official NCERT website: ncert.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the 'vacancies' section in the announcements area on the homepage.
3. Click on 'advertisement No. 174/2024 for filling up vacant academic positions under direct recruitment || Apply Now.'
4. Select 'apply now,' fill in the required details, and submit the form.
5. Login using your registration number and password.
6. Complete the form, select the desired post, and click 'submit.'
7. Print the completed form for future reference.
Application Fee
As per the official notification:
Applicants belonging to UR (Unreserved), OBC (Other Backward Classes), and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) categories are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000 through online payment.
Women applicants and those from SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) categories are exempt from the application fee. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Pay Scales
The pay scales for the positions are as follows:
1. Professor: Academic Level 14 with an entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200 (Pre-revised scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP of Rs. 10,000).
2. Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A with an entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400 (Pre-revised scale: Rs. 37,400-67,000 with AGP of Rs. 9,000).
3. Assistant Professor/Assistant Librarian: Academic Level 10 with an entry pay of Rs. 57,700 (Pre-revised scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 with AGP of Rs. 6,000).
