Naxals set ablaze vehicles, bridge building equipments
Hyderabad, Apr 27: A group of Maoists today set ablaze two vehicles and construction equipments used for building a bridge between Maharashtra and Telangana in Adilabad district, police said.
The incident happened in the wee hours today between 2 to 3.30 AM when the ultras set on fire a tipper, a tractor besides two construction machines belonging to a private company which had undertaken construction work on Bejjur-Aheri bridge near Gudem village of Adilabad in Telangana, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Kagaznagar Sub-Division) G Chakravarthi said.

"The tipper and tractor were partially burnt and the construction equipments were also partially damaged in the burning incident," the DSP told PTI.
"Maoists from Maharashtra are suspected to be behind the burning incident who fled after setting the vehicles on fire," another police officer said adding they are in the process of registering a case. Further probe is on.
