Nashik Gears Up for 27th National Youth Festival 2024: A Celebration of Youthful Talent
Nashik, Maharashtra, is set to host the 27th National Youth Festival (NYF 2024) from January 12 to 16, 2024. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reviewed the ongoing preparations for the festival, emphasizing its importance as a platform for young people to showcase their skills and talents. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the multi-activity festival on January 12, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Prime Minister to Inaugurate the Festival
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the multi-activity festival on January 12, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Preparations are underway to accord the Prime Minister a grand welcome upon his arrival in Nashik.
Tapovan Ground to Host Inaugural Program
Chief Minister Shinde visited the Tapovan Ground, the designated venue for the festival's inaugural program. Approximately 8,000 young people from across the country will participate in various cultural events during the festival.
Branding Nashik on a Global Scale
Shinde emphasized the significance of the festival in promoting Nashik globally and showcasing its rich cultural heritage. He expressed gratitude to the central government, Prime Minister Modi, and Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur for entrusting Maharashtra with the opportunity to host the National Youth Festival.
Platform for Youth Talent and Skills
The Chief Minister highlighted that the festival provides a platform for young people to exhibit their talents and skills. He assured that the district administration is making all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for the participants.
Grand Welcome for the Prime Minister
Shinde mentioned that preparations are underway to accord a grand welcome to Prime Minister Modi. Local youth and artists will also have the opportunity to showcase their abilities during the festival.

The festival will serve as a platform to showcase Maharashtra's diverse culture and traditions, with a special focus on Nashik. Various beautification projects, such as road repairs, wall paintings, and cleaning, have commenced across the city in preparation for the event.
