WB shocker: National-level woman volleyball player stabbed to death by stalker
Kolkata, Mar 26: Days after a national-level kabbadi player was shot to death in Haryana, another shocking incident has come to light. Reportedly, National-level woman volleyball player was hacked to death by a stalker in West Bengal.
As per media reports, the incidident took place on Friday in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. It is being said that an unknown stalker stabbed 15-year old budding player while she was on her way to a coaching camp. Reportedly, stalker attacked girl several times with sharp weapon.

Badly injured player was later admitted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Aggrieved family which filed police complaint alleged that youth who was stalking Sangeeta for last few days attacked her with sharp edged weapon after she rejected his advances.
"No arrest has been made as of yet now. We are pursuing the suspect," additional superintendent of police Tarun Halder said. Sangeeta had participated in the junior category national level volleyball tournament.
