Bihar News: CCCC 13.0 Takes Off in Style - DPS Patna Leads the Charge, Nanya Dev and Tanmay Kashyap Crowned National Champions
The National Inter School Cryptic Crossword Contest 2025 commenced with an online practice round, attracting enthusiastic participation from students across India. The event promotes cognitive skills and teamwork among participants from grades VII to XII.
The 13th edition of the National Inter School Cryptic Crossword Contest (CCCC 13.0) kicked off with a resounding success as the Practice Round was conducted online on Sunday, 27 July 2025. This non-scoring session, meant exclusively for registered participants, provided a valuable opportunity to experience the contest's format and structure before diving into the competitive rounds of Stage I.

Despite being a trial round, the response was overwhelming. Teams from every corner of India - representing both urban centers and remote regions - engaged enthusiastically, showcasing the contest's widespread popularity and academic impact. Hundreds of two-member teams from grades 7 to 12 tested their aptitude for cryptic crosswords in a simulated competitive setting.

Upcoming Schedule - Stage I (Online Rounds)
Crossword grids will be released at 2:00 PM IST on each of the following dates: Round 1: 3 August 2025 Round 2: 10 August 2025 Round 3: 17 August 2025 Teams will have 3 hours to submit entries. Rankings will depend on accuracy and speed, with top 100 cumulative teams and top 20 of each round qualifying for Stage II.
