New Delhi, May 26: The Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi will be sworn-in as the Prime Minister of India today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Oath-taking ceremony to be slated at 6 pm. Here are the live updates:

7:30 pm: Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony came to its end. All leaders, celebrities greeted Modi and his ministers. Rashtrapati Bhavan has been lightened up with different colours.

7:20 pm: Dr Jintender Singh, Nirmala Seetharaman, Manoj Sinha, GM Siddeswara, Nihar Chand, Upendra Khushwaha, Radhakrishnan, Kiran Rijiju, Krishan Pal, Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan, Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava, Raosaheb Dadasaheb Danve, Vishnu Dev Sai, Sudarshan Bhagat took oath as the Ministers of States (MoS).

7:00 pm: Shripad Naik made blunder as instead of reading the first paragraph of his speech, he read out the second para first while taking oath as the Minister of State (MoS).

6:59 pm: VK Singh, Inderjit Singh, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Shripad Naik, Dharmendra Pradhan, Sarbananda Sonowal, Piyush Goyal took oath as the Ministers of States (MoS).

6:50 pm: Radha Mohan Singh, Thawar Chand Gehlot and Smriti Irani, Dr Harsh Vardhan too took oath as the ministers of Modi's cabinet.

6:45 pm: Harsimrat Kaur, Narendra Singh Tomar, Jual Oram took oath as Modi's cabinet ministers.

6:37 pm: Ravi Shankar Prasad, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Ananth Gangaram Geete took oath as cabinet ministers.

6:30 pm: Ram Vilas Pawan, Najma Heptullah, Gopinath Munde, Kalraj Mishra, Menaka Gandhi took oath.

6:26 pm: Uma Bharti and former Karnataka CM Sadananda Gowda took oath as Union Cabinet Ministers.

6:22 pm: Venkaiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari took as cabinet ministers.

6:18 pm: Arun Jaitley too took oath as the cabinet minister.

6:16 pm: Swearin-on the name of God, Sushma Swaraj took oath as the cabinet minister.

6:14 pm: After Narendra Modi, BJP leader Rajnath Singh took oath as the cabinet minister.

6:10 pm: Led by President Pranab Mukherjee, Narendra Modi is taking oath as the 15th Prime Minister of India.

6:00 pm: Finally, the PM-designate Narendra Modi, clad in off-white kurta and Nehru jacket, arrived at the venue. He will take oath shortly. He is seating beside Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and other BJP leaders.

5:57 pm: Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai came in a BMW. He exchanged greetings with all Kalam, Manmoha Singh, Sharif, Sonia Gandhi, Koirala.

5:52 pm: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Earlier Tamil Nadu leader Vaiko had protested against him and was detained at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

5:46 pm: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Nepal PM Sushil Koirala also have arrived.

5:40 pm: Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, outgoing PM Manmohan Singh reached the venue. NDA leaders and UPA leaders greeted each other.

5:30 pm: Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Kirron Kher, Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Anil Ambani, Dharmendra, Bappi Lahiri, Abdul Kalam arrived in Raisina Hill.

5:25 pm: Former Union Minister P Chidambaram too arrived for Modi's swearing-in ceremony.

5:20: All senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Murli Manohar Joshi have arrived at the venue. BJP's ally Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and TDP N Chandrababu Naidu along with their family members also turned up to the venue.

5:10 pm: Mukesh Ambani along with wife Nita Ambani reached President House forecourt to attend PM-designate Narendra Modi's oath ceremony.

5:00 pm: Pakistan PM Naawaz Sharif left hotel for PM-designate Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony which will be held at Rastrapati Bhavan. Meanwhile, Modi's close aides Amit Shah and Ram Madhav reached the venue.

4:55 pm: Outgoing Prime Minister of India -- Dr Manmohan Singh met Nepal PM Sushil Koirala.

4:25 pm: Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan along with father Rakesh Roshan arrived in Delhi to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony. Speaking about Modi's governance, Bollywood's actor-director Rakesh Roshan said, "Good days have come. It's a big day for everyone as Modi will take oath as the 15th PM."

3:30 pm: I will live up to the expectations to the best of my abilities: Smriti Irani; Irani may be offered the HRD, Ananth Kumar could be the next Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Radha Mohan Singh could take charge as the next Agriculture Minister, TDP's Ashok Gajapathi Raju could take charge as the next Civil Aviation Minister.

3:15 pm: Ramdas Athavale will not attend swear in ceremony. Disappointed as he doesn't get a berth.
