Overruling all speculations regarding RJD's possible coalition with BJP and JD(U), Rabri Devi said that her party is capable to fight with BJP and JD(U) alone. She also added that RJD, whose chief Lalu Prasad is currently been lodged in jail, will oppose both the parties in the upcoming elections and will fight against them in upcoming Lok Sabha election which is expected to be held in 2014.
Rabri Devi's statement surfaced just hours before RJD's Parivartan Rally in Gaya under on Monday, Nov 18. Rabri Devi recently claimed that she along with her son will run party following the path shown by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
RJD will oppose BJP, JD(U) in Lok Sabha elections 2014
The former CM of Bihar earlier had asserted that both BJP and JD(U) were orchestrating a 'friendly fight' with each other to distract attention from the real issues.
"The two estranged allies are deliberately playing out a friendly fight to distract public attention from the real issues in Bihar," she said in a statement.
JD(U) and BJP looted Bihar during their rule of over seven and half years and when it came to accounting for their performance, these two parties have 'deliberately orchestrated' a 'friendly fight' between them, she said.
