Narendra Modi introduces Yoga postures through his Weibo account
Beijing, June 5: After calling Chinese enthusiasts to take part in UN's International Yoga Day in a big way on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been tweeting daily in Chinese social media on Yoga postures and their importance.
In his tweets on Chinese social media Sina Weibo - akin to Twitter in China - Modi detailed the intricacies of various Yoga Asanas (postures) like Tadasana, Vrikshasana and Padahastasana and their health benefits.

The Indian Embassy and the Consulates in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou are holding a series of events to commemorate June 21st as International Yoga Day.
Besides holding a number of Yoga events in Beijing and all top cities with local Yoga organisations in China, the mission is organising a five-day International Yoga meet from June 17 to 21 in Chengdu.
In his tweet on June 1, Modi called on Chinese enthusiasts to take part in the events in a big way.
