"Those who ruled here for 15 years did not understand the youth of the nation. Give us an account of the 60 years you ruled, and then ask me about the 60 days of my govt," he said.

The slogan 'sabka saath sabka vikas' is resonating across the world today. Even the American leaders have begun using it," he said. Highlights of rally in Beed, Maharashtra

PM Narendra Modi remembered the late BJP leader Gopinath Munde, at the start of his speech, by saying, "Ye Viraat jansagar Shri Gopinath Munde ji ki tapasya ka fal hai. Aaj agar Gopinath Munde ji hote to shayad mujhe Maharashtra ane ki zaroorat bhi na hoti (Had Gopinath Munde been alive today, there would have been no need for me to come here)".

"Maybe God loved him more than me, but as far as Maharshtra is concerned, each and every child of this state is Gopinath", Modi said.

Modi asked from the people of Beed, pointing to the youth, "Did 15 years of governance did any good to you? to farmers? to poor? to the state? I have come here to ask you for something today as a true friend of Gopinath Munde ji...Do you want to save Maharashtra?"

"If you want the progress of the nation, You will have to save Maharashtra today. Maharashtra wants a stable BJP Government today", he asserted.

While citing the example of TV show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" hosted by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bacchan, Modi said, "People in Maharshtra Govt used to play 'Kaun Banega Arabpati' everyday".

In a blistering attack at NCP-Congress, Modi said, "They both belong to same category. Their motives are same. Due to some reasons, they have opened different shops".

"People ask me about my 'big vision', I tell them I am an ordinary man, I think small only and I think of doing big things for small people only", he said.

On his recent US trip, Modi asked people, "Earlier, did you ever seen India's shining glory in US? This is not Modi magic, but this is the magic of 1.25 crore Indian population, who supported me and gave a clear majority."

Reminding people about the upcoming elections, PM said, "Press the lotus button and then a lotus will bloom, which will ensure good governance in your state".

Amid roaring noise of the crowd, Modi said, "Take pledge of changing fate of Maharashtra today and I assure you I will work with you shoulder to shoulder."

Addressing his first election rally after the recent Lok Sabha elections, Modi said that the Oct 15 elections for Haryana's 90 assembly seats would decide the future of Haryana.

"I want you to vote for the BJP so that it forms the government with full majority. Change is important if you want to move forward. Make Haryana free from the Congress misrule," Modi said.

Hitting out at the Congress, he said: "Those who did nothing in 60 years ask us what we did in 60 days. I ask them was Kailash Mansarovar not there in Congress time. Yet it was so tough to go to Kailash Mansarovar for a Yatra. They didn't do it in 60 years but we got a new road opened."

He said that the Congress gave troubles to farmers cultivating Basmati rice. "Which farmer got land here? Who took away the land? This is Haryana, people will fight for every inch of land taken away," he said.

Working his charm with the audience, Modi said: "Allow me to repay your gratitude. Will you give a complete majority to BJP in Haryana?, he asked, to which the crowd cheered and replied a yes.
