Narendra Modi extends Diwali greetings to the nation

In a message posted on Facebook, Modi said: "Wishing all of you a very Happy Diwali. May our lives be illuminated with joy and peace. May the lamp of prosperity be lit among the poor." Modi even wished the nation an tweeted:
Narendra Modi had earlier said that he would spend Diwali with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Modi reached Siachen on Thursday morning and is likely to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers at the Siachen Glacier.
The prime minister will then leave for Srinagar, where he will spend time with the people who were affected by the floods.Upon his arrival, NC, PDP and BJP delegations met Prime Minister Narendra Modi .
