Narendra Modi greets Afghan on its I-Day

New Delhi, Aug 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Afghanistan on its 94th Independence Day and assured India's full support to create a peaceful and prosperous nation.

"Independence Day greetings to the people of Afghanistan. India's ties with Afghanistan are strong and will grow further in the coming years," said Modi in a tweet.

"India assures full support to govt and people of Afghanistan in their efforts to create a peaceful, united, democratic & prosperous nation," he added.
