Mumbai, March 31: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi recently gave an interview to ETV Rajasthan and it was telecast on Monday. Here are some of the highlights of what Modi told to Hari Shankar Vyas in the programme called Central Hall as his agenda for the 2014 election:

"When I say Congress-free Bharat, I mean corruption-free Bharat."

"All governments that came to power in Delhi except that of Atal Bihari Vajpayee have had some similarity with the Congress because their leaders had been a part of that party at some point of time."

"Administration is not a problem, it is the people who run it are the problem."

"We are a democratic country and people of India have every right to know what's there in their leaders' mind."

"People are fed up of corruption as have seen the worst of all in the past 10 years."

"UPA government failed to keep the people's trust."

"Atal Bihari's government is a role model for the good governance."

"Lawlessness is the reality but we need to decrease the number of laws to avoid confusion."

"Women have to be empowered to take decisions like marriage, having children."

"We should not under estimate our youth. The next generation is ready to take charge of the country."

"The Indian government must have a policy for domestic manufacturing of defence equipment."
