Chetan Bhagat irks Indians against Narendra Modi, Twitter flooded
Though Bhagat did not name Narendra Modi in his tweet but it was visible that his tweet was nothing but a sharp comparison between the hero, a chaiwalah, and the Gujarat CM who is also the PM candidate of BJP.
Bhagat's tweet says, "In Slumdog Millionaire, a chaiwallah (the hero -- Jamal Malik) won the top prize. The world loved that story. Remember that."
Chetan Bhagat's tweet was a criticism against SP leader Naresh Agarwal
It can be understood that Bhagat's statement was a sharp criticism against Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal who had claimed that Modi can not become the PM of the country as he was a "chaiwallah (a tea seller)."
Taking a dig at Agarwal, Bhagat extended his support to the Gujarat CM by saying that "chaiwalah got the top prize". His tweet was trolled hugely as the tweet was re-tweeted 725 times and was marked as "favourite" by 247 people. However, the same tweet invited wrath of anti-Modi people.
