New Delhi, June 6: Confusion in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government remains as LK Advani has not been given any permanent post yet. Now, following the confusion over the former deputy prime minister, the veteran leader vacated the room which he had used for five years in his capacity as NDA chairperson.

Advani vacated the room in Parliament House following the humiliation which he faced when he reached the Parliament on Friday, June 6. According to sources, BJP and close associates of Advani decided not to use room no 4 in the House. However, it also have been informed that the decision was taken by Advani himself.

After vacating the room, the 86-year-old leader sat in the BJP's parliamentary party office during the recess, in a room earmarked for the party's deputy leader.

It also have been informed that the decision was taken by Advani himself.

Gopinath Munde, who died during an accident on Tuesday, held the post of deputy leader in the previous Lok Sabha, while his counterpart in the Rajya Sabha was Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is now a Cabinet Minister in the Narendra Modi government.

The entire confusion was created as Narendra Modi-led BJP has not yet decided whether he will get to continue as chairperson of the BJP-led ruling combine.

Despite BJP's silence on the crucial decision regarding the head of NDA, many experts believe that the responsibility should be vested in the prime minister to duck any danger of the emergence of a rival power of centre.
