Naked body of minor girl found in field

Bijnor (UP), Jul 8 :Naked body of a minor girl was found today in an agricultural field in Sundarpur village here, police said.

Her family told that the girl (9) was sleeping with them under the porch but she went missing late in the night and kept on searching her whole night, they said.

A farmer Mahendra found her body lying in his water-filled farm today morning, police said. The body has been sent for postmortem, they said, adding efforts are on to ascertain cause of her death.

However, police said they are trying to find out if it is a case of rape and murder.
