Punjab: Nabha jailbreak mastermind, Khalistani terrorist Romi arrested in Hong Kong
Nabha jailbreak mastermind and Khalistani terrorist Ramanjit Singh alias Romi was on Friday arrested in Hong Kong. A senior police officer confirmed the development and said Romi has been arrested in Hong Kong in connection with a robbery.

Ramanjit Singh ran a Hong Kong Khalistani module which had links with terror module busted by Punjab Police linked to killings of 7 RSS,Shiv Sena and Dera members.
Romi, a native of Bathinda and a close associate of slain gangsters Vicky Gounder and Prema Lahoria, had escaped to Hong Kong in June 2016 after jumping bail. Police had recovered stolen cars, pistols and fake credit cards from him. They also had confiscated his passport. But after his bail, Romi managed to get his passport from the department and fled abroad.
A Red Corner Notice was issued against Romi since his disappearance. His role is also suspected in targeted killings of 2016-17 in Jalandhar and Ludhiana.
Punjab police said that he remained in touch with gangster Gurpreet Singh Sekhon, another key plotter and one of the six people to escape Nabha prison in November 2016.
