'My privacy is my right', Twitterati welcome SC’s verdict on right to privacy

Users of Twitter welcomed the Supreme Court's judgement on right to privacy.

New Delhi, August 24: The aam aadmi (common man) of India celebrated the landmark Supreme Court judgement that unanimously declared that right to privacy was a fundamental right under the Constitution on Thursday.

A nine-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice JS Khehar ruled that "right to privacy is an intrinsic part of right to life and personal liberty under Article 21 and entire part III of the Constitution".

Since the judgement will have a direct bearing on the lives of millions of Indians, thus people from all walks of life welcomed the judgement.
