My father was threatened by CPI(M) for joining Kerala BJP says daughter

The daughter of a Kerala BJP worker has appealed for help through a Facebook video stating that CPM workers are threatening to kill her father. A class XI student who is the daughter of a BJP worker from Kasargod in Kerala said that CPM workers were threatening to kill her father Sukumaran for joining the BJP.

The girl, Ashwini said that her father had recently joined the BJP in the presence of Kerala BJP president, Kummanam Rajasekharan at Kanjangad. The CPI (M) workers were unhappy with this development, she also said in the video.

"A few days back my father and I were returning from my school in Karinthalam when 5 CPI(M) workers threatened him for joining the BJP. They said that they are not scared of anyone and also added that they would kill him in this town itself," she is further heard saying in the video.
