Muzaffarnagar, Nov 19: A history-sheeter accused in the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots and a range of other loot and murder cases has been arrested, police said today.

Harender, who carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on him, and was involved in 12 cases of loot and murder, including the 2013 communal riots in Muzaffarnagar was arrested yesterday in a police encounter at Bullandshahr, SSP Sonia Singh said.

He is accused of killing three youths at Mohammadpur Raisingh village in the district during the 2013 riots, police said.
