Muskan Rastogi, Who Killed Husband With Lover's Help, Found Pregnant In Jail During Medical Checkup
Muskan Rastogi, currently held in prison alongside her lover for the alleged murder of her husband, has been found to be pregnant following a routine medical check-up, officials confirmed on Monday.
Senior Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma stated that all female inmates undergo regular health screenings and pregnancy tests upon their admission. Muskan's test was conducted as part of this standard protocol.

Although the written medical report is yet to be received, Sharma noted that he had been verbally informed by medical staff that Muskan is indeed pregnant.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Ashok Kataria corroborated that a preliminary test had been carried out, indicating pregnancy. An ultrasound examination will follow to determine the condition and gestational age.
Meerut Murder Case
The case concerns the killing of Saurabh Rajput, a former Merchant Navy officer, who was murdered on the night of 4 March at his residence in Indiranagar, Meerut district. Muskan and her alleged lover, Sahil, are accused of drugging him before fatally stabbing him.
According to investigators, the pair dismembered Saurabh's body-severing his head and hands-and concealed the remains in a blue plastic drum filled with cement.
The ongoing investigation suggests Muskan had been plotting the murder since as early as November 2023. She reportedly manipulated Sahil Shukla into committing the crime by impersonating his late mother using a fake Snapchat account.
The post-mortem report revealed horrifying details. Saurabh's head had been removed, both hands were severed at the wrists, and his legs had been forcefully bent backward-likely to fit the body into the drum. The cause of death was listed as shock and excessive blood loss.
Currently, both Muskan and Sahil remain in judicial custody. Muskan has been assigned tailoring work within the prison, while Sahil is engaged in farming activities. Both have also been enrolled in a rehabilitation programme supported by a drug de-addiction centre.
