Mumbai University Result 2017: 72 get zero in MA Sociology

First there was a delay in the declaration of the Mumbai University Result 2017. Now the results for 477 courses have resulted in huge errors.

In the MA Sociology first year 80 per cent of the students have failed and 72 have been awarded zero in their papers.

Not only is the pass percentage inexplicably low, adding to the mystery is the fact that 72 of the students have been awarded a zero in their paper.

The delay in the declaration of the results had already brought the university to the national attention, with the state government stepping in to resolve the crisis. The results for the various examinations were to be released in the month of May and were delayed by over three months in some cases. Following constant intervention, MU finally started to release results of the many courses.

Yesterday it also released the third year B. Com results.

The Times of India reported a total of 687 students enrolled in the course. Out of the same, however, only 462 had appeared for the exam. The result states that 361 of the 462 stduents have failed the exam. A total of 72 students from this number have been awarded a zero.
