Mumbai Metro Timings: MMRDA Announces Extension Of Train Services During Navratri 2024

The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) has announced an extension of metro train services during Navratri. Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA, highlighted the need to boost transport services for the festive season. This move aims to accommodate the increased demand from devotees participating in Navratri celebrations.

To cater to late-night commuters during Navratri, Mumbai Metro will offer additional services from October 7 to October 11, 2024. During this period, there will be 12 extra trips each day with a 15-minute interval between them. This ensures that those attending midnight festivities can travel affordably and conveniently.

Mumbai Metro's Extended Services

Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee emphasised the significance of Navratri as a unifying festival and the responsibility to provide safe and efficient transport for all citizens and devotees. "By extending the metro train services, the Mumbai Metro is ensuring that commuters have an easy and comfortable travel option during late-night celebrations," he stated.

The extended timetable for the Andheri West to Gundavali route includes departures at 23:15 PM, 23:30 PM, 23:45 PM, 00:00 AM, 00:15 AM, and 00:30 AM. The return trips from Gundavali to Andheri West follow the same schedule. These additional services aim to facilitate smooth travel for those celebrating Navratri.
