Mumbai may receive heavy to very heavy rains by June 8
The intensity of rains would keep on increasing over commercial capital Mumbai and by June 8, a significant increase in the rains leading to few heavy to very heavy spells is expected, according to weather reports.

Private weather agency Skymet reported these heavy rains may lead to flash floods and may cause traffic snarls and chaos in the day to day life. The report advised people to take adequate measures and precautions to avoid struggling with the chaotic situation.
These spells would, in turn, be responsible for triggering the arrival of Southwest Monsoon which is anticipated by June 8. As per Regional Meteorological Centre, sky is likely to be generally cloudy on Tuesday. Rain or thundershowers likely to occur towards evening or night.
Monsoon is expected to reach #Maharashtra & surrounding areas by tomorrow. Rainfall is expected to reach by 7-8 June in Mumbai.
