Mumbai: Man accused of masturbating in front of an American woman in public arrested

Mumbai, August 19: The Mumbai man who was masturbating in front of an American woman- Maryanna Abdo- in public has been arrested.

Recording the woman's statement, police lodged an FIR against the man for outraging a woman's modesty. The woman claimed that the man started ejaculating in front of her when she had gone for a morning walk to the Gateway of India.

He ran away when she confronted him.

She took a picture of him and flayed her publicly on social media, sharing her ordeal on Facebook and Twitter. The photo is now viral.

Meanwhile, the woman says that Mumbai police extended their full support to the woman and so did the CM's office. It is said that the man was on the run ever since the incident came to light.
