Mumbai: Local train catches fire at Dadar Station, no injuries reported

Rail traffic was affected after fire broke out inside part of a local train at Dadar Railway Station on Friday.

The incident happened due to brake binding at around 9.24 pm. Three locals were locked up behind this local and the rest were diverted on the fast corridor.

The fire was brought under control at 10.40 pm. Four fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

However, no commuter was injured in the incident.
