Mumbai, July 21: Girls no more safe in Dream City, Mumbai. A 16-year-old girl was stabbed outside her house on Monday, July 20.

It has been reported that four youths attacked the girl outside her house at Virar near Mumbai. The victim was going to when she was attacked by the four assailants.

Murder

The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was stated to be out of danger. Speaking about the incident, Mumbai Police official was quoted as saying, "Around ten days back, one of the accused had proposed the girl, though she had rejected his proposal.

"Recently, the accused once again approached her and threatened to kill her father if she did not accept his love proposal," added police while informing about the incident.

The cops also informed that the girl had slapped the boy and a crowd gathered at the spot and beat him up in which he received injuries on his head.

"The girl then told her father about what happened. Her family approached the police and lodged a complaint, though the police did not register an FIR in this connection," police said.

A complaint lodged against him infuriated the accused, who decided to take revenge. With the help of his three friends, he decided to execute the plan. Accordingly, they spotted the girl this morning and stabbed her before fleeing from the spot, police said.

A case has been registered against the four youths under relevant sections of the IPC.
