Mumbai: Controversial godwoman Radhe Maa grilled in police station
Mumbai, Aug 14: Radhe Maa finally recorded her statement with Mumbai Police on Friday, Aug 14. Investigating officers grilled the self-styled godwoman in connection with a dowry harassment case filed by Nikki Gupta.
Radhe Maa along with her close aide -- Chhoti Maa and Sanjeev Gupta arrived at the Kandivali police station around 12:15 pm.
Security was beefed up soon after Radhe Maa's white Toyota Fortune SUV reached the Kandivali police station. Radhe Maa was served a summon by Mumbai Police.
A session court in Mumbai on Thursday rejected her anticipatory bail plea. Hence, the self-styled godwoman arrived at the police station to record her statement.
Nikki Gupta accused Radhe Maa of instigating her in-laws to torture her for dowry. The complainant claimed that Radhe Maa is the decision maker of her family. Her in-laws and husband are the ardent followers of Radhe Maa.
