#AutoStrike: Twitter flooded with jokes as auto strike hits normal life in Mumbai
Mumbai, June 17: State-wide auto strike hit normal life in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai on Wednesday, June 17.
The largest auto union in the city, Mumbai Autorickshaw-Taximen's Union (MAU), protested against Ola Cabs and Uber and demanded that call center-operated cabs should be banned in Mumbai and other cities in Maharashtra.

The protesting auto union also asked for revocation of Maharashtra government's decision to scrap the Hakim panel on auto and taxi fares.
The Union earlier had appealed to 15 lakh autorickshaw men across the state to join the stir, which has hit lakhs of commuters.
Meanwhile, micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with comments as Mumbaikars cracked jokes on auto strike in Mumbai. #AutoStrike was trending on top on Twitter on Wednesday.
It seems that Mumbaikars were happy as the autos were not plying on roads in the city.
Here are a few comments by Mumbaikars on #AutoStrike:
