Mumbai airport: When a dog delayed flights
Mumbai, Jan 18: Flight operations were hit at the Mumbai airport after a dog was found roaming at the runway, media reported.
A Jet Airways flight had to abort take-off while four others were made to hover in the skies for more than 15 minutes after the dog strayed into the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport of Mumbai on Sunday.

The dog forced to shut the operation son runway between 3.08 pm and 3.39 pm runway.
Various instances runway intrusions have been reported in the past at the Mumbai airport as several slums are located near the airport.
20 airports in the country were found prone to wildlife intrusion and bird strikes. DGCA in November ordered surveillance for these airports.
